MoBlogs: Visual Learning Tools
Tonight in our class we discussed visual learning tools and how we can apply them into our future classrooms. We talked about flipped classrooms, Ted, NBCLearn, YouTube and many more. We then discussed flipped classrooms a little more. We talked about skills that students can gain by using flipped classrooms, what issues do you think might arise while using flipped classroom and how might you use flipped classroom in and outside of your classroom. We also made a board on Pinterest about flipped classrooms. In the next couple of class periods we will be making our own flipped classroom. On Khan Academy we picked a topic that we will be using in our video. The link below is from a website, Word It Out, where you can put a section of material talked about in class and it will show you the words that were mentioned the most in the material. This will help when you have covered something in class and want to see what the class got from the lesson.I'm excited to start playing my flipped classroom and will soon be able to share with everyone soon!
